Women at the Cross

This past weekend I attended a women's retreat called Women at the Cross. It is the counterpart to the men's weekend, Men at the Cross, that Matt has been helping to lead over the last several years. This was a place for me to be my authentic self, broken and redeemed by Christ's perfect love for me. My heart was touched in a powerful way and I feel like I'm on the road to being whole again, ready to show up in the relationships in my life as the strong woman God has created me to be. I was impressed by the leadership and amazed by the creative ways in which I was ministered to. The visual images I received help me to know that God is truly present in my life.
