This girl has captured our hearts in ways I never thought possible and we are so blessed to have her sweet self in our lives. At 3 months she is cooing, laughing, mostly sleeping through the night, loving attention from her brothers, smiling all the time, making a very cute pouty lip when she is sad, and sucking her thumb when she can't find her pacy. She fusses intensely for about 2 minutes before she covers her eyes and falls asleep. Her eyes have turned from bluish grey to bright blue. She got those beauties from Matt. I decided to take this set of photos on her great-grandmother's quilt. I love the colors and the vintage feel of these shots.

Stella Blue
Meet Stella Blue. She was named after the Grateful Dead Song Stella Blue. Isn't she darling?
My good friend Aimee had Stella just 3 weeks after I had Lily. I had so much fun taking these 6 week shots of her. I just love that soft baby skin those bright eyes!
Aimee is a fellow art teacher and one of the most creative people I know. Watch out world, if she takes after her mom or dad, this is going to be one talented little girl. Stella has entered into a wonderful family and I cannot wait to watch her and Lily grow together.

The Snow Family
I am so behind on updating this blog. Hmmm...I wonder why!! Even though it is now well into fall, I wanted to post these because I took some photos while this little one was in the belly. They were one of the first families I took pictures of when I was deciding if I wanted to embark on this photography journey. It was sweet to meet up with them a year later and capture their new addition. She is such a fun little girl and is almost walking! How time flies!

Pirate Booty
This Halloween the boys wanted to both be pirates. I decided L should be a piratess right along with them. I really dug the three of them all together....so cute! I got these pj's at Old Navy which I think is such a great idea because now they can wear their costumes more than one day. Since the boys were born we have spent Halloween with their twin friends who live down the street. The girls are only 9 days older than the boys. This was one of our best Halloweens yet. In the afternoon we went down to "The square" in our neighborhood. The stores hand out candy and it is fun to see all the kids in their costumes. It was a pleasant fall evening with no snow this year. L snuggled up to me in the sling and watched her brothers go from house to house squealing with delight each time they walked up to a new house and rang the doorbell to get some more pirate booty (candy)!
