We're here! We arrived Sunday late afternoon 5/25 after a very long journey. The boys did well considering a 2 hour flight to Houston, a layover, an 8 hour flight to Paris and then a long drive through Paris traffic to Steve and Rikke's. We had several meltdowns, none worth remembering now, but thank goodness for Steve's extra hands during our travels. It was a joy to meet our new cousin Rachel and to see Claudia and Rikke again. In some ways it feels like we never left from last summer. We all have recovered from jet lag and are settling into a routine.....having the best baguettes, croissants, pastries and cheese I've ever tasted, playing in Luxembourg Gardens in the morning, shopping for groceries, playing with cousins, and exploring a new apartment. We are missing Matt greatly and can't wait until he joins us in another 2 weeks.
