Thanksgiving

In keeping with tradition, we spent Thanksgiving with our good family friends the Stahnkes and the Melkonians. We have done this ever since I can remember and one of the reasons I love Thanksgiving so much. We ate a good meal and indulged in lots of yummy desserts. The kids enjoyed a gift exchange and playing together!

We had a 2nd Thanksgiving with the Johnsons and lots of good Grandma and Boppa time. I can't imagine not having our families nearby. The boys really would miss them!

Grandma Johnson loves pulling the boys in her red wagon. I think she's losing her load!

Winter is Here!

Fall has been beautiful this year. The leaves stayed on the trees for a long time and we have really enjoyed the nice weather. This morning however it really felt like winter. We woke up to snow and it is COLD! Brrr! I caught "the boys" checking it out!

Afternoon in the Garden

One of the places I have loved visiting this fall is the Botanic Gardens. I have enjoyed exploring with Matt and the boys and looking at the beautiful displays of flowers, plants, and trees. It is so peaceful, a refuge from the busyness of everyday life. This afternoon we went to one of the small gardens to let the boys play. We also went to Confluence Park and watched the South Platte River rushing by. What a great fall day!
